Remarks

To achieve illuminance of 3,200Lumen/Watt requirement, it requires
2 lamps of LED T8/20w.

* LED has loss, too.  As LED could not directly connect to DC power source and require power supply to convert AC to DC (similar to Notebook Adapter) equipped inside the housing.  The 20% to 30% loss is due to the quality of specific LED.

* LED, always refer to 50,000 hours life-time.However, the claim was based on standard illuminance reduction at LM 50.To compare at the same FL T8 Standard, it should be refered to LM 90.  Upon the same LM specification,
T8 and LED were at the same yield.
-
Color rendering index of T8 is more than LED, or each LED is based on the manufacturing and methodology quality.

* at 4 Baht per unit

LED T8 Tube (T8-20W) costed 1,400 baht per lamp (based on Razer Electric's price) or LED Signex costed 1,790 baht each (based on L&E's price)
Considering return on investment, though LED achieve high ROI but we should consider the limitation and drawback of LED.

Conclusion :
Not all new technology is better than existing technology.  Specific emerging technology is applicable to some application.  To select the suitable technology is depending on the usage and its co-exist with the existing system.  To improve the efficiency and to reduce energy cost by managing the system is PSJ's core concept of Energy Saving.  PSJ is aiming to offer the best solution to manage energy according to the utilization, location, actual application, contolling the excess and manage the waste wisely.  We offer highest standard solutions with  illuminance and safety standards as our basic fundamental with no impact to your operation and business result.

Note:  The comparison was based on standard price list (ex-VAT 7%) of the products at the same level of standards and was referable in terms of technical specifications.
